Poet, novelist, screenwriter, and boatbuilder.
Marlena Evangeline is a Southern Californian. She earned a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Composition and Literary Theory from California State University San Bernardino. Later, she earned an M.F.A. from the Writers Workshop at the University of Alabama.
Her Pushcart Press, Editors Book Award, nominated novel, The Orange Blossom Express will be published by The Carapace Publishing Group in 2009.
